all tracks were recorded in the shown order nearly without breaks and live as usual first cut during the rehearsal – whole session improvised – just pressing record and going off… otherwise it will be remarked. track names were given straight as the noise stopped spontaneously mostly by klaas based on his impression of the session after pressing strg+s…
we try to keep the recording process simple and direct. all stuff played and recorded live at once with a cheap micro in front of every amp and one for the drumset merged by a yamaha MG 10/2 8 track mixer (4 used for recording) straight into a old pc laptop running wavelab. the voices are done by a second yamaha mixer as a kind of a sub mixer just for the voice with a little rack echo fx panel.
although we nearly have a fixed volume and sound level the recordings may differ in the sound due to mood swingings and sharing the rehearsal room (and pa) with the brainsuckers (be curious on their new material. klaas used to play with pascal and heimer around 1998 in a band called downhill. they missed their 10 year reunion show so be prepared for the 15th anniversary.).
